Hawk in Season 4

I know it was to set up a new character arc for Hawk and fully redeem him because him saving Demitri at the end of S3 wasn't enough to make up for everything. But was I the only one that was worried that Hawk was gonna completely change as a character, especially since he was my favourite?
I'm glad to see that he's still Hawk, even with that weak cut he has.
