I was in this sub probably as much as anyone else in between season 1 and 2. One thing that I most definitely didn't see hardly any of.....was any hatred shown Demetri's way. On the list of things people disliked after season 1, he was extremely low on the list.

Now, after season 2, the topic of disliking a character can't be discussed here without multiple people saying how much they hate his character.

What's changed?

Granted, he definitely took on a larger role in season 2. So, I can already hear people saying that this is the reason most don't like him now. However, for this to be the main reason, it wouldn't explain how/why after season 1, his character was brought up many times when talking about characters that people liked the most. There were countless posts of people talking about how they relate to his character because of his dry sense of humor.

The only thing that's changed from season 1 and season 2, is him switching to Miyagi-do....that's it. He was the same pessimistic negative person that he was in season 1. But instead of being best friends of the characters some people blindly support around here, he was with their rival.

I've mentioned before that if Robby had shown up 15 minutes before Johnny and miguel hugged and made up with Johnny. While having miguel getting upset that he was being pushed out. So, he ends up joining Daniels side, it would be miguel who is getting all of the hatred. While all of a sudden, Robby is somehow the golden character. The biggest reason why I hope that Robby and Johnny end up making up and getting close, is because its going to be funny when all of a sudden, we start seeing so many posts talking about how much they liked Robby in season 3.
