I picked up to work 7p-7a at my PRN SNF job. 7p-11p was busy but not too bad. 3 of us on the schedule for 11p-7p and one person told another aid that she wasn’t coming in because she doesn’t feel well (didn’t call out the proper way so we didn’t know she wasn’t coming until a couple of hours in). So now there are 2 of us for 60 ppl. 90% are incontinent. I’ve already said I won’t be getting anyone up and I’ll do the best I can with rounds. I just can’t believe healthcare has gotten this bad and managers don’t care to figure out how to make it better.
