Facility taking away scrub tops😭
Post Body

My job is deciding that scrub tops are “too clinical” and are making us wear turquoise polos. I am so annoyed by this for several reasons

  1. The material of scrub tops is way easier to clean if you get something on it

  2. The biggest con of polos- NO POCKETS. We have to carry a set of keys, work phone, a walkie, pens, gloves, etc. I’m not sure how they’re expecting us to carry all this shit in small ass pant pockets?!

  3. I have big boobs and I like wearing looser scrub tops. I’m going to feel so uncomfortable in a polo that’s more form fitting.

  4. They’re only giving us 2 tops. I work like 4 12 hour shifts a week. And I don’t have a washer and dryer in my apt. Which means I’m going to have to buy more shirts at $30 each.

  5. I like wearing scrub tops with prints on them. Especially during the holidays. It just adds some fun to work.

What do you guys think? Would you rather wear regular shirts or scrub tops? They’re going to give out write ups if we get caught not wearing the new uniform. Also, I should probably add that I work in an assisted living facility, but it’s basically a nursing home tbh.

I'm autistic so I would absolutely be finding another job. That would be a nightmare for me.
