I work nights and I always get stuck with this girl that complains the ENTIRE shift. “I fucking hate this place” “I’m about to quit” “I’m not doing xyz because day shift didn’t do this and that” LIKE OH MY GOD KILL ME. It’s every time. Then I’m stuck doing the majority of the work when it’s just the two of us because she’s so miserable.
If you don’t like it, then quit. Yes, some things are annoying but complaining in front of residents is not it. They feed off that energy. I try to come in with a positive attitude and she is just draining. She never shuts up. Even when I’m not feeding into it or responding. I dread seeing her name on the schedule. I just want to do my job in peace and go home.
