I've been at my job for almost 4 years . When I started it was incredibly hard and a lot of heavier clients and I noticed being younger and new that I was treated differently.
I was Introverted, kind and they used it and worked me In the ground and I noticed the difference especially with my coworkers . I notice coworkers who started after me and who are white tend to have only independent clients where if I go to a client once who's hard it ends up being my permanent. I'd love to leave but it's hard getting positions in homecare where I live .
I am black, no children, way younger so I do wonder if that plays a factor.
