How likely am I to get a waitlisted class?

Couldn't pull the trigger because of financial constraints. Now the class is waitlisted.
Anyone in NYC have succes getting into classes when you're on the wait list?
I'm sort of freaking out. My work schedule doesn't really allow me to take the other class schedule that is available.
