Post Body

I had around 15 patients today, 10 totals, 3-4 showers. We're expected to give every single person a bedbath if they aren't getting a shower, so that in itself can take a while. I was so busy today that by the time lunch rolled around, there were 2 people I hadn't still taken care of, and I feel horrible that they were sitting in their pee that long. How do you get faster, or do things more efficiently so people don't get left behind when you've got so much to do.

Comments

Always always ALWAYS prioritize brief changes when your care ratio is too high. Even if that's literally ALL you do all shift, round on them and make sure they're changed every 2 hours.
