Geriatric CNA with POTs?
Post Body

I’m not looking for medical advice/diagnosis. Just want some tips or tricks. Please let me know if this isn’t allowed or I need to change anything. Kind of a rant more than anything.

I was recently diagnosed with POTs and at first, it really wasn’t that bad. I’d been off my ADHD meds for almost a month (back order) and I feel like that was the start of my downfall as now I’m struggling with a POTs episode/flare-up, or whatever you wanna call it, and I can’t even accomplish many tasks at home unless they involve sitting for long periods of time which can still be hard. I just reached out to my doctor for some extra help but while I’m waiting for a response, I thought I’d come on here and see if anyone has dealt with something similar or has any tips? I’m about ready to try and look for remote jobs which I didn’t really want to do as it can be hard for me to motivate myself sometimes. I don’t even know what remote jobs I can do as an CNA, google isn’t always helpful in that aspect. All of this among other random things are taking a toll on my mental health now and I just feel so lost and defeated.

Thanks for coming to my ted talk.
