Hi, I'm a 45yo CD, curious about visiting the club with my wife for the first time. I wonder about the vibe, and if it would be a good idea, as we're very nervous. I basically never went out anywhere in public yet, and my wife is reasonably (but somewhat reluctantly) supportive of my "hobby". She's willing to go together out of curiosity, but while we're curious we would definitely not be looking for sex or anything hardcore. It's looking like a good place to dress up, maybe chat and meet some people, have some drinks and try to relax if we can.

- Do you think it's a good idea for a couple not looking for sex or hard play?

- I understand we can get a membership at the door, but how do the door fees work, do we count as a couple ($40?) or 2 "girls" (free?). I'd feel embarrassed to ask at the door...

- It's a huge jump for us, from never going out like that, to visiting a sex club. We never did anything like that in any context ourselves, though we're completely fine and supportive of other people's habits. In case we're approached by someone - what would be an appropriate way to indicate that we could be curious in general but are definitely not interested in the actual sex? I don't want people to have wrong expectations and be disappointed but I don't want to just be rude and turn people away when they may just want to chat or just be polite. I've no idea about the etiquette in these circumstances...

- Is there a place I can do make-up? Can't do it at home. As there's a dance party tomorrow, would there be enough room or would there be a lineup?

I also want to make the visit as nice and not creepy for my wife (and myself) as possible, so any advice is welcome. Even writing this took a lot of effort... I would really like the first visit not to be the last...
