Someone I know attended the gang-bang at M4 on the afternoon of Sunday June 23rd. They contacted me because they thought they were just exhausted and needed a ride home. They struggled to get dressed and get into my car. They passed out in my car but I thought they were just asleep but they later recounted that they were aware of what was happening around them but unable to move. When I reached their place they struggled to open their eyes. Eventually they were able to open their eyes and communicate through blinking but they were unable to speak for a while. Even though they were conscious they were unable to move any part of their body. It took awhile for them to be able to speak and longer to regain the ability to move. They did not want to go to the hospital because they were self-conscious. They eventually recovered and regained the ability to move but remained in a haze for the rest of the evening.

They were only drinking water and we believe that was how they were roofied. Someone passed them what they thought was their water glass and they are uncertain if they were the intended victim or not but most likely were. In the past they were able to get bottles of water from the bartenders but some give them a hard time and refuse to give water bottles that are more secure.

My friend is still too self-conscious to say anything personally but has given me permission to speak on their behalf. I am writing this to make you aware of this serious risk to M4 patrons and the community at large.
