Anyone experience an issue where the Steam overlay doesn't work in Moonlight?

I have sunshine/moonlight setup between my Android tablet and PC. Everything works flawlessly, except for the in game Steam overlay. It doesn't work on most (but not all) games, when I try to bring it up there's just a blank screen. BPM works just fine though.
