Just bought a Lenovo Yoga C740 and wanted to transform into a Chromebook. I bought a 32gb flash drive and followed all the instructions on Neverware's website. I get to the point where I'm supposed to turn the laptop back on and boot from the USB. I select my USB drive, and all that happens is I get a blue/black screen. Absolutely nothing happens.
At first I downloaded the USB installer from Internet Explorer (since that was the default browser). So I thought I needed to download it from Chrome, but the same thing happened. I bought a smaller USB (16gb) since their website says to use an 8gb or 16gb and the same. damn. screen.
Is there anything I can do? I'm not super tech savvy but I really wanted this to work. So far I've followed all of the instructions exactly as they list them.
Edited to add: Neither USB I've used are SanDisk. I also tried manually creating the installer on my Mac and the program still didn't launch.
