Have Snappis been replaced?? Or is the a decent alternative I should know about?

I'm on baby #2 and I need some new Snappis, but I'm having trouble finding them for a decent price. I'm in Canada, so I have fewer options that the US if I want to save on shipping, and what I'm finding is that they are either overpriced or have an obscene shipping charge tacked on.

Some of what I'm seeing can indicate that the product is discontinued. So is there something else I should be searching for to hold my prefolds together? I think I have some diaper pins, but obviously I'd rather not go that route if I can avoid it, and I've never had any luck with unfastened prefolds.
