Pallpitine ordered the corpse of the beast to be cloned on Kamino after successfully killing it after its rampage on corrasant in 21 bby in the clone wars tv show.the zilobeast has lightsaber and blaster proof hides that palpitine obviously wanted to take advantage of for “stronger armor for clone troopers”.he may want stronger armor for the incoming order 66 but idk. But in the show nothing came out of it.but in the yoda comic book(canon) there is a droid made of lightsaber proof armor called mega droids. This armor makes them hard to take down.in 21 bby during the clone wars yoda and Anakin visited Golatha to destroy the factory constructing these mega droids and even end up defeating one prototype droid.according to Wookieepedia the megadroids were made with a much stronger than average blend of Durasteel.is it possible that palpitine cloned the zilobeast corpses and transported the hides of them to the outer rim planet of golatha to melt it down and blend it with strong Durasteel formula and then begin construction on stronger droids.and if so will we ever see this material of zilo beast hide again
