How close is this game to beta?

When I bought the game a long time ago, I was still on Windows and played it for about 30 min. I remember seeing a gane that had the barebones in it but it still had a long way to go. I haven't been able to play further updates since the Linux version isn't out yet. I keep checking this subreddit once in a while and all I see are the monthly update posts and no comments. Of course, these things take time.

So, for those of you that have been playing the game, how do you feel about the development of the game?
