Seth Thomas German Alarm Clock

I found this clock in my home (It was abandoned for about 30 years before moving in). We had a yard sale, but I wanted this clock. The alarm function works, and the hands move. But I cannot figure out how to set it and have it move and tell me the time. Help would be appreciated
