IRB conflict of interest?

Hi! My institution has combined the IRB coordinator with the study coordinator. That person is leaving and I have been given the IRB as well as my research nurse role. The previous IRB coordinator nor the person with the combined position enroll/consented patients. I am being expected to be a voting IRB member/coordinator as well as continue to consent/enroll/follow patients. A central IRB is used for the majority of trials but not all. Is this ethical? Conflict of interest?
