Anyone have any preferred platforms they use?

Sorry but just wanting to know if anyone else feels me on this.

I’m a contractor working on several studies. With that of course comes with working in a lot of different digital tools and platforms. This is crazy annoying bc quite frankly they all suck. Veeva, Medidata etc all suck. The platforms are a confusing mess. I get lost on them all the time and more often than not using excel is a lot more straight forward. Anyone else have experience with any crazy platforms? Curious if anyone actually uses something that is straightforward and intuitive.
