To answer my own question first, I started in April of 2016 I boulder (conservatively) v5-6 or 6c to 7a and lead 5.10 - 5.11a/b I always find myself wanting to "chase grades". Its almost as if my reasons for climbing have changed over time. I still enjoy climbing but I now find myself wanting to climb harder grades and get a different enjoyment out of sending harder problems. Do you train? If so, what do you do? Why do you climb? Do you have ambitions to climb harder grades?
Gf and I started a few weeks back and both got a 5.10d this week top-roping at the gym. Slow progress, but we're stoked on it.

Girlfriend got it in one push, I slipped off a pinch and took a break before I got back on, so I guess doesn't count as much.
