Has a doctor ever helped your pulley injury?
Post Body

Have you ever gone to medical doctor in regards to a pulley injury and were they able to help you? We see lots of threads on here where people ask what to do about a pulley injury and responses seem pretty split between "see a doctor" and "don't bother." I wanted to get my own anecdotal experience out of the way and see what other's experiences have been with seeking care for a pulley injury from a medical doctor. Feel free to elaborate in the comments below.

Edit: Medical Doctors only, no PT's, DC's, or other initials.

Answered no for a different climbing finger injury, hope that's okay.

I think a common consensus is that most regular doctors won't be super helpful, but a doctor that rock climbs or has experience with climbers may be (those can be hard to find).
