Looking for opinions on whether it would be worthwhile to invest in study resources or if folks who have taken the Sociology CLEP think this would cover it.
I've taken 3 upper-level (3000/4000) Sociology classes for my minor at this point:
- Theory: Covers major historical and modern theorists. Marx, Weber, Durkheim, Feminist Theory, Poststructuralism, Postmodernism, queer theory, and theories on race.
- Sex and Gender: Feminist theory and the sociological history of men, women, and queer studies in the US.
- Education: Studies US educational conditions and outcomes through a sociological lens.
I'd like to take the Intro CLEP to satisfy an elective credit. Do you think with the information I've learned and the course materials I have access to, it's likely that I'd pass the intro test, or would it be worth getting a study guide and going from there? Does the exam content pull heavily from other areas that I haven't learned about?
Obv making guesses here but trying to get it out of the way as soon as possible. Thanks!
