Super stoked that I passed the Intro to Psychology CLEP. Overall, I did about 3-4 days of "real studying" but had some prior knowledge of anatomy and disorders that helped a bit.
The Test: Peterson’s tests are similar, but I feel like the new version of the CLEP had an emphasis on MUCH different things. Double down on different types of methodology (behaviorism, functionalism, structuralism and what that details). As well as standard deviation/case studies. It was much more detail oriented than I thought on most subjects.
Study wise: I RELIGIOUSLY used the quizlet provided in a previous post and that was about 70% of my study material. The Google Docs provided should’ve been my 70% tbh. But the quizlet does help a lot. I simply reviewed these and then took all 3 Peterson’s practice tests. After I finished the tests, I checked to see what I got wrong and WHY. After getting the answer, I repeated it multiple times to make sure I understood. Rinse and repeat for 3-4 days, about 15 hours total study time.
Anyway, hope this helps! Good luck to yall!
