I'm really frustrated right now. I bought a subscription last week to play with a friend who transferred from Heartseeker to Grobbulus. It looks like free or paid transfers to Grobbulus are no longer able to be completed, so I asked for a refund on that purchase. I have a few weeks off of work and I'm itching to play wow tbc so I thought screw it, I bought another subscription this week to transfer to a different relatively high-pop server and try and find some people to play with or just pug some raids.

I'm looking at https://ironforge.pro/population/tbc/ to see the realm pop layout and NO realms on US east or west are able to be transferred too. I'm really not even sure if any realms can actually be transferred too because I don't want to risk wasting the free transfer or pay for a transfer, but now I'm stuck on Heartseeker or some other low-pop realm that I won't be able to find anyone to play with.

Every time I try to transfer my character I get a "An error was encountered. Please come back.", which from looking on the forums its just that blizzard disabled transfers to those realms.

Has anyone else had issues with this? Is there anything I can do in order to get on some sort of high/medium-pop US east/west server so I don't end up in the same situation I was in a few months ago (no people to play with)?
