How to improve as a guild

Hey Reddit.

Me and my guild have been raiding together for about 6 months now, and we have had BWL on farm since week 2, so that would make it a bit over two months now.

Every once in a while we get a week where we usually one shot every boss and the raid goes without any major hiccups, but I still wouldn’t call those runs smooth.

Then theres the normal week, where we lose our world buffs on either Vael or Firemaw, because of stupid individual mistakes, or people just not being on top of their game that night. These nights we usually wipe 2-4 times to various reasons.

I’d like to think that we have atleast 25-30 decent/good players, that know their stuff, come prepared and do good numbers. Still, we tend to struggle quite a bit. We are recruiting 24/7, but with our server not being the biggest, finding good players can be really hard, and every time a good player leaves the guild, we really can’t fill that void.

Do you have any suggestions on how we could improve our overall raid performance? I don’t think we have single issue that needs to be solved, but rather many smaller problems that add up to sloppy raids. I know we could do a lot better, I just don’t know how.
