Brake pedal sticks

Hello I have a 67 coupe with manual brakes (no booster yet) and we bled the brakes and the pedal return if I step on it. But only until I reach half way or three quarter (don’t have an exact measurement) and then it gets stuck all the way down and I have to use my foot to bring it back up. Any ideas on a fix?
