RP: The recent military expedition against Vikinshire has left much of the Trollish frontier without adequate military presence, as all trained men were recruited by their lords to fight in the war. Thus, banditry, petty crime, and general social unrest in on the rise. Not to the extent to cause a catastrophic societal breakdown, but enough to cause some discontent amongst the people.

Discontent Trolls, rather than sit on their asses and feel bad, tend to take action to re-content themselves. Since actually fighting the wave of banditry and criminality is beyond the means of most, a wave of migration has emanated from many Trollish villages. Many have merely settled modestly further away from their old homes, expanding the Trollish dominion incrementally, but others, enticed by the recent arrival of a Talosian trading expedition from the south, have taken to the seas to find refuge.

From these people, the first Trollish colonies have been formed, as small as they may be. Is this the start of an age of colonialism and expansionism of the Trolls, or merely a one-time fluke of history? Find out next time when the Trolls rouse themselves from bumness and post here again!
