In this time, the troll merchants, diplomats, and other visitors to Vikinshire have noticed that the Vikinshirean people regularly board floating wooden structures on the water. The greatest troll engineers and artisans, with the patronage of troll nobles and merchant guilds, have built their own cheap copies of these Vikinshirean nautical devices, and over the decades, have even added their own national flair to them.
