Post Body

Hello,

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a Brazilian University (not an ABET-Accredited Program) consisting of a total of 5 years postsecondary (college level) engineering education, and I also interned in a Civil Engineering Consulting company in Brazil for a little over 1 year.

Today I got my results of the FE Exam. I passed, and I'm super happy about it! Now I'm onto the next phase, which is getting my EIT certification in California, my state of residence.

I noticed that for the PE certification, its website states that you need the education from an ABET-Accredited Program, and otherwise, you need to have your degree evaluated by their board. But for the EIT requirements, it does not mention anything about that, it just asks for 3 years of postsecondary engineering education, which I have.

So, in short, to successfully apply and receive my EIT certification, would the FE exam and my College Diploma, with a certified translation, suffice?
