How do I fix this?
Post Body

This happened in my gf's 2017 Civic, it was hit with an object and resulted in this. The touch screen doesn't work but the system still starts and works, but there is constant beeping as if the screen is being pressed. A mechanic quoted her a $1,200 amount to replace the entire system. Part of me thinks this could be a screen replacement similar to an iPhone but want to make sure she is getting the right fix. If anyone has experience with something similar and can share that would be great. Thanks!

Had this exact thing happen

Buy a Canadian head unit or whatever you can find that's the cheapest, just has a good screen. The screen part pops right off after some trim removal. Should take you 15 minutes tops, you don't even have to mess with the head unit plugs or do a radio code or anything like that
