Full name: The Goodspringian Writers Guild.

Common/prefered name: The Writers Guild.

Guild structure

For the most part, we are just a group of people/friends looking to write cool stories about civcraft. But for security and formality, we do have some rankings:

Loremaster: Top guy. Representative of the guild. Holder of the books and guider of the lore. (surrounding the Tree of Life, mostly). Their main responsibility is making sure our guilds collection of books is kept safe, handling of the guilds funds, and overseeing the joining of new members. Otherwise, He's just another writer.

Writer: Everyone else really. We write about whatever we want and can give it to the guild for safe keeping. Asking for access to the collection from the loremaster is also easily done.

newbie This is anyone who has joined and has yet to make a written piece yet. They are yet untested and are not yet trusted with the collection.

A copy of all written works made by the members of the writers guild must be kept in the guild collection. More copies can be made if requested.

Guild activities

We're the writer's guild! Our main goal is to write of course! More specifically, stories about civcraft. Whether this is about a personal journey, a chronicling of a nation, history of the server, poetry about the land, legendary events/players or fictional stories! Basicly anything to do with civcraft!

Activities include:

Writing our own stories. Working together on a writing project. Have brainstorm meetings. Go on guild trips for inspiration. Do a paid job, issued to the guild. Go out and find people who want a story made.

You can buy book and quill's from the guild for a greatly reduced price.

We are located right next to the Goodspring Temple, on the west side. Our guildhall at the time of writing, is unbuilt. But it will be completed soon!

How to Join

Anyone can join! Just contact me, DJDAV1D, about your interest and I'll let you in! You can get to writing straight away, or even donate books made in the past.

We are striving to give civcraft more meaning, culture and lore. If that sounds like something you're interested in, join up!

Funding

The writers guild requires funding for the purchasing of book and quills, travel expenses and other writing needs.

We gain funding through 3 means:

• DJDAV1D's and other generous members own pockets.
• From the council (pending)
• And by taking paid requests for written works. The reward money for these is mostly given to the writer, with the guild taking a 20% cut.
