There's been some confusion about the honarary member/citizen/respected citizen rankings and such. And tbh, they were pretty boring anyways. So here is some new, more fun, deserty rankings! [Names can be changed if you have a good suggestion.]

You want to join Goodsprings, son? Well its simple!:

~Sapling rank~

How do I become Sapling rank?:

• A Donation of 4 cactus and 4 saplings (of any tree), to show respect and appreciation for each the Council members. (If you need to acquire more cacti, there is some scattered all around Goodsprings. Simply harvest the tops)

• Then, an offering to the town. To show you are willing to give something up to protect the Tree of Life and the desert. (This offering can be anything. Materials, money, labor, loyality, expertise, MORE cactus or even just a couple of stacks of dirt. Whatever your willing to give.)

• Then Pledge yourself to the Tree of Life, The Good Spring and the protection of the desert. This is a must.

What does Sapling rank get me?

• Official Goodsprings citizenship

• A sweet ceremony in your honour!

• The ability to buy and own land

• A free house to call your own! (Details in build code)

• Access to the Goodsprings group. Which gives access to the mine pyramid, farms and drop boxes. And goodsprings chat.

yay! You are now a sapling of the Tree of Life. She protects you so you may one day, grow as strong as she. May her strength live on in you. And may you serve her well.

~Acacia Rank~

How do i become Acacia rank?

• Offering 4 stacks of acacia wood to the council. (ceremonial)

• Being an active member of Goodsprings for at least a week

• 3 Significant contributions to the town. This can be creating/helping in building public works, a collection of rare materials, bringing in new players/trade deals, helping with interactions in other towns, protecting goodsprings in time of need, capturing criminals, making new suggestions/petitions or even being very friendly and helpful member of the town. The council votes on if your acts are significant enough, and if deemed so, you pass!

What does Acacia rank get me?

• 1 Free plot for whatever you want!

• Discount on other plots

• Can form a guild. (details on guilds in future post)

• A lump sum of 10 iron

• Access to snitch network

• More access to town materials

• Another sweet ceremony!

• Can run for the council election

• Can start your own fighting team, for the colosseum.

Acacia rank signifies that you can survive and live in the desert. You are no longer a sapling but a tree in your own right. You have the power to protect the Tree of Life and the desert, just as they have nurtured you.

How do i become Cactus rank?

• 5 more significant contributions to the town. This can be creating/helping in building public works, a collection of rare materials, bringing in new players/trade deals, helping with interactions in other towns, protecting goodsprings in time of need, capturing criminals, making new suggestions/petitions or even being very friendly and helpful member of the town. The council votes on their thoughts on if your acts are significant enough, and if deemed so, you pass!

• Active member of Goodsprings for at least 2 weeks.

• Offering of 4 stacks of cactus to the Council (during the ceremony)

• Completing the wilderness survival test. In this test you will be tasked with surviving in the desert for 2 minecraft days. You will go with nothing but a single cactus. You may not come back to Goodsprings or go to any other city in this time. Nor leave the desert. At the dawn of the second day, a chosen member of Goodsprings will start hunting you down. If you can make it back to the Tree of Life by the dawn of the 3rd day without dying, you pass.

What does Cactus rank get you?

• The honour of being the highest ranking citizen, comparable to the council. You are highly respected.

• Completely free access to all factories

• Cactus rank citizens get full access to the store dome, the towns resources.

• A diamond tool of their choosing, as well as 5 diamonds.

• Can stand in for councillors when needed

• Greater discounts on plots

• A free, very large plot.

• Help in voting on Supreme councillor elections.

Cactus rank signifies that you can not only survive, but thrive. A master of the desert. You are now one with the sand, as harsh as the land. As a cactus, you are proud and unphased. You are able to stand by the Tree of Life as an equal, both of you protecting and creating a better desert for all of us.

How do you like the new rankings? fun and different, right? These are all SUBJECT TO CHANGE and i'd like suggestions on anything to make them better or if you have a different idea. For the sake of fairness everyone who joined before these rankings starts at sapling. But things you've done for the town in the past before these ranking were made, will still count towards ranking up. In the comments ive mentioned people who i think have achieved or are close to achieving Acacia rank. Please comment if you think you are Elegible for this ranking.
