How to Create a Successful Clan in CivCrafter

I for one am not the greatest of clan leaders, at least yet. I have only prestiged twice, and I don't attack constantly, due to me focusing on prestiging at the moment. However, I am wanting to be a better leader and provide insight for current and future members.
So here is my questions. To the leaders of the top clans, what makes you a great leader of your clan, and what makes your clan successful?
