Second day of Olympics!
Post Body

This is just a report, for info go here here

Today we had Musical Chairs, Foot Race and Hoedown, all medal-awarding events, and the first ones of the Olympics; a fairly lowkey day, because a lot of people aren't available on Thursday. Nonetheless, turnout was good, at around ten people for each of the events plus spectators.

Musical Chairs was, as ever, intense. It was done with a jukebox until the Gensokyo VC Musical Chairs. The Foot Race had some difficulties in determining the winners; ultimately, I elected to stay with my original intent to rely on the juke info as the definitive record, though the video looked different. Hoedown quickly boiled down to an Adina team trying to find a way to reach Okx' camping tower, which they ultimately did.

I hope everyone had a good second day; I sure enjoyed hosting. Thanks to Rey for helping with organisation and security in particular today. The major events start tomorrow, on Friday, and additionally, chess allocations have been made; note that the events from now on will mostly not be hosted by me but by our two other lovely hosts, Rey and jasonbord. Statuebuilding competition also starts tomorrow. See you there!
