Seeking clarification on unresolved diamond ore issues and admin team reorganisation

Diamonds are still pretty much a non-entity with very little communication on the upcoming fix.
Earlier this week Tealnerd ceased being listed in the subreddit sidebar as server own/head admin and is no longer a subreddit moderator. I think everyone expected a post later that same day explaining what happened but this entire week there's been... silence. Many posts questioning the apparent shakeup were actually removed.
