Hey guys, many of you know me. I've been around since 2.0 Civcraft. If you don't know me that's because I generally keep a low profile and don't stir shit if I can help it.

Currently I live in the nation of Tierra de Conciencia (TdC). Several of our participants and I have been concerned about some of the aggressive acts being performed around the world in our name.

I want to be crystal clear:

ANYONE CLAIMING TO BE ACTING AS TDC OR UNDER OUR BANNER IS OUT OF LINE. WE ARE UNITED BY OUR DESIRE NOT TO BE CENTRALIZED UNDER AUTHORITY FIGURES OR A POWER STRUCTURE.

Participants in TdC have the right to free association and can do whatever they want all over the server (and reap the consequences thereof). They do not have the right to drag the rest of us into the mud with them. Most of TdC just wants to built cool brutalist shit and generally be good neighbors.

We've started the process on fixing these situations internally and hope to have a publicly available "national ethos" soon. This will explain what TdC is, what TdC is not, etc.

Until then (and probably 99% of the time after that), please treat all actions coming from "the TdC government" as the actions of the individual doing them. Only with a consensus of all TdC participants will we ever act unilaterally under the banner of "TdC".

If you've been wronged by someone claiming to be acting on behalf of all of TdC, I would like to sincerely apologize and I hope that we, as individuals living in TdC, can help fix some of the wrongs that have been perpetrated in our name.

Furthermore, I can really only speak on behalf of the myself and the conversations I've had with my comrades. TdC is not a warfaring nation, many of us do not want to be a warfaring nation unless we are forced to be, and this is incredibly frustrating to us after we worked so hard to be the "friendly Mexican commies next door" (at least that's what that one map painted us as :P)
