I was exploring a natural plains biome, noted a village which was spawning villagers and I could hear them huh'ing in the distance. I had more to explore so I got some villager eggs and continued.

Later I placed the eggs in my town and they bred like crazy, eventually producing iron golems. I took a break for a while, and when on my way back to it there were no iron golems. NONE. I could stand next to the villagers with no iron golems spawning at all. Nothing blocking them, it just didn't work.

Something is super wrong with mobs.

I need some iron drops. Not a lot. Just a few. So, I have hollowed out dark creepy areas for the blood ritual to commence to convince Teal to spawn us some iron golems. Only, there's no willing sacrifices. Once I kidnap someone, I will update you all.
