Vzis has just violated our independence by committing an unexpected surprised coordinated along with Volterran forces, they have ravaged through the main street destroying homes, shops and our very own town hall in the process

We have also lost all of our fighting forces and our own remaining population has defected to the enemy, but fear not as the spirit of Icenia will never die and we shall continue our struggle no matter what and we shall soon rise back from the ashes.

however It is with grave grief that I must announce that the republic of Icenia is for now temporarily disbanded.
