Why don't more people play Multiplayer?
Post Body

I know alot of people play the Civilization games but I feel like the vast majority play strictly single player. Civ, to me, is a way more in depth risk type game. I would not sit down and play a game of risk by myself even if there were automated opponents.

Single player is missing everything that makes me excited for this type of game. I like to be able to form alliances with real people, manipulate ally's and opponents, stab friends in the back ect.. I understand that muliplayer right now is extremely buggy which could be contributing to this but my friends that play single player couldn't give a shit about fixing multiplayer.
