How to change map features?

Hello, I am wondering If there is any way to change how worlds are generated, specifically how I can decrease the generation of mountains? I am using the perfectworld mod but there are like 10x the amount of mountains normally, and they really ruin the otherwise awesome maps. Any specific place in the code to look at? Or, is there a mod similar to the Detailed Worlds mod for CIV6?
