My buddy just got Civ V on windows 10, and whenever he starts it it will open the launcher and no matter which option he chooses it will display that the game is running in steam and it will flash syncing next to the game in the sidebar for a second and then nothing happens. He's tried running in compatibility mode, verifying the cache, restarting the computer, run the games as administrator, tried reinstalling direct x, and reinstalling the game. We are at a loss for what to and were wondering if anyone was facing the same issue and managed to fix it.

Edit: Alright everyone we managed to fix the issue by running thr game on compatibility mode for windows 7 and running the game as administrator. If anyone is hacing the same issue feel free to try that.
