How do I take less turns to win?

Hello, I’m kind of a new player but I have been trained by a veteran of the game.
I am playing emperor difficulty(6) but I take more than 400 turns to win… how do I win faster? Beware of the fact that I play with only domination victory (the one that says I have to conquer every other city), fast speed.
Do I have to be able to fight multiple wars at the same time?
Edit: I bought the full game with every DLC!
