I'm having a really odd glitch, and I'm wondering if anyone on here is having the same thing happen, or at the very least has some idea of how to fix it. I have googled around, but no hits.

Since the last update, I was extremely excited for the new TSL Mediterranean and Huge Earth maps. Unfortunately, when I went to load up either of them, the same thing happens - I get the loading screen and the narration about my leader, but after a few seconds, the loading screen fades away and it boots me back to the main menu. The really weird thing is, I can still hear the narration about my leader going on in the background. This happens regardless of settings, leader, difficulty, game mode, etc - I've tried it selecting all the things I want, and also just selecting random for everything. It happens on both the TSL versions of both maps as well as the non-TSL versions of both maps. When the narration stops, I'm just left on the main menu wondering if I just hallucinated the process of trying to load a new game.

I'm not using any particularly invasive mods (production from population, better aqueducts, truly abundant resources are the only ones I've got - the last one not applicable on those maps anyway).

Any ideas? I'm going a little crazy over here trying to figure it out.
