Adding Beyond Earth Units to Civ V?

Has anybody attempted to mod this yet? It would be pretty awesome. You might even add a culture or ideology channel for the 3 affinities.
Hell, Firaxis should just do a final expansion tying Civ5 timeline to BE and Starships. Just my 2 cents
