Problem with Empires of the Smoky Skies not loading

Info: I have Civ V with G&K as well as BNW. WHen I try to load the scenario Empires of the Smoky SKies the game starts, I see my units and the terrain, the music plays, but I cannot click anything at all. This includes the menu button, any units, or really anything at all. Huge bummer.
How do I fix this? ANybody got any ideas?
