Dear city pop people, I'm in need of recommendations. Musician here working on a popular arranging/orchestration job. There's a song I want to arrange for orchestra&singer w/band in the style of J city pop. I've listened to countless city pop radio hours and playlists, and I have that soundworld in my ears, but for the love of me cannot find any names of City Pop songs (on the funky jazzy side) with string orchestras or multiple string instruments (not just 1 violin that post-2000's often use). So, many violins violas, hitting those sugar chords, spicy melodies, with synths under& over, backed by tight funk bass n drums. Can you recommend me some?
Western funk&jazzy stuff with strings would also work, if you know songs that match this aesthetic. many thanks in advance
