Upping dose from 20 to 30mg

I've been on 20mg for about 8 weeks and it helped my mood but did nothing for my anxiety. Been upped to 30mg a couple days ago and my anxiety is through the roof, trouble sleeping, bursting into tears, is this normal to feel like I've started from square one again? And how long until it starts helping?
