I like my penis but hate my foreskin; need advice on post-op activities

I'm a late-20s male who has looked into getting my penis circumcised. I do not like how my dick looks and want the excess skin removed. My boyfriend says he'll support me either way but he admits he prefers cut cocks.
So how soon after getting cut will I be able to engage in giving anal sex, receiving oral sex or masturbating?
And any advice on what the typical circumcision procedure entails would be appreciated before I commit to it (I live in the UK if that helps).
