Ways to combat unwanted erections during the healing process?

I'm 37 years old and got circumcised on March 26th last Tuesday. At night, I am prone to erections and the bandage did its part in helping prevent them, However it has now been removed, leaving the gauze, stitches and silicone ring underneath. I've tried techniques like flexing my pecs, shoulders and arms, and clasping my hands together hard with my elbows pointing outwards. It can help, but I wondered if anybody else has any techniques they employ?
