Is a $10k a month budget realistic for nyc

Hi I’m moving from bumblefuck to nyc and want to know if my rent budget of 10k a month will be able to get me a nyc apartment and what kind of life I can live with my salary and in the very specific neighborhood I want to be in because I have a commute to another neighborhood for work. I know I could look on Zillow and street easy and then compare the rents I see to my own finances but I prefer not to do that and instead have real New Yorkers shout neighborhoods at me that I turn down as they haven’t properly guessed where I want to live and warn me I won’t be able to afford drinks on the weekend
